Wow!! What an amazing place. My husband and I moved here from the southern lower 48 and this place felt just like home. I got the kids country breakfast (was more than enough for me) and my husband got the meat lovers omelet! The food was phenomenal and came out super fast! The staff were so pleasant and the coffee was amazing. Definitely will be back.

A local gem, food and service was excellent - so good that we came here for brunch and dinner on the same day! No wonder Guy Fieri came to visit them when he was in Fairbanks! Monte Cristo, Philly Cheesesteak, Broccoli soup, Beef Stroganoff were all yummy but the star was the Stuffed NOLAN - pancakes with cream cheese and fruit on top!

We went on a Sunday morning so there was a good crowd, and it took close to an hour for our party of 6 to be seated. Good news is the large indoor lobby so we were comfortable waiting. Service was really good and the food was excellent. I love corned beef hash, and am always looking for not-from-the-can versions; this was outstanding. Lots of corned beef, lots of potatoes, and the onions were well-cooked. We got a cinnamon roll French toast for the table and everyone loved it! Will return next time we are in town! Apparently Guy Fieri leaves photos and such where he eats, and he was clearly here. If you fancy that sort of thing.

Cute place. Service was helpful, always there and got everything correct. Walking in, my husband had a cinnamon roll craving which was gone by the time he finished this. Omelet was flavorful

Went here on my first day in Fairbanks, and it was great! Friendly service and a calm atmosphere. We were lucky to get in early because it got busy quickly (on a Sunday) I was surprised to find biscuits and gravy this far away from the south-eastern US, so of course I had to get them. They tasted pretty good, but the hash browns were even better with the gravy. The food needed a bit of salt and pepper, but was still tasty. But the real stars were these huge cinnamon rolls that stole my gaze and never let it go even after I left the restaurant.

Great local breakfast place that we tried on our first day in town! My wife ordered and enjoyed Nolan's Own Breakfast which was a cinnamon roll cut in half, dipped in egg batter, grilled and dusted with powdered sugar yum! And I selected the Country Fried Steak & Eggs! It was made with a large piece of prime rib and was delicious! We were both very happy with our selections and also each brought food home. The portions are enormous! Our server was very sweet and attentive; especially so with how busy the place was! The inside is decorated with all sorts of cookie jars, many with Santa but other themes too! The restaurant is located behind some car dealerships and Google maps routed us between the two dealerships so at first we were wondering if that was right...? It was. The restaurant is tucked in behind them. Enjoy!

Can I give more than 5 stars?! Amazing breakfast this morning at the cookie jar! Everyone enjoyed their meals and left feeling full and satisfied :) Our table got a BYO Scramble, Nolan's own, 2 country fried steaks, waffle platter, and I got the al la carte egg and bacon. Everything was flavorful, seasoned welled, and cooked to perfection, especially the bacon! Our waitress was sweet and wonderful! Definitely a place I will add to our must stop list for whenever we return to Fairbanks

TLDR : Great place for a nice and cozy brunch! We tried cookie jar while visiting Fairbanks and we loved the brunch at cookie jar. The food was great, the biscuits and gravy were amazing. The soups and sandwiches were also on point. The service were a little slow to our liking but since we were a large group (party of 10) that might be expected for larger groups. Overall a good experience

I went to the cookie jar to put another checkmark on my Diners Drove in's and Dives scorecard. I picked up a dozen assorted cookies as a gift for my client. The cookies were pretty good and there are a selection of candies and peanut butter cups as well. I was told by the young lady clerk that many of the candies are not made in house. She was very nice and extremely helpful. The place is a neat little diner serving breakfast and lunch. One key thing was the large cinnamon rolls
